Dr. (Mrs.) I. Stella Agyenim-Boateng Adjudged "Exceptional Woman in Public Service"

The Deputy Chief Executive (Services) of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Dr. (Mrs.) I. Stella Agyenim-Boateng has been adjudged the “Exceptional Woman in Public Service” at the maiden edition of the Instinct Women Awards in recognition of her exemplary leadership and unrivaled commitment to professionalism, innovation, equity and mentorship in public service. 

Delivering a short speech after receiving the prestigious award, Dr. (Mrs.) Agyenim-Boateng underscored the need for women to work collectively toward inspiring the next generation and creating meaningful change for the future. “As women we are stronger together and as we go higher let us help others too”, she said.

The event, which was held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel saw about 40 awardees from Ghana, Nigeria, and the United Kingdom (UK) being recognised for their outstanding contributions to various fields.

Other big winners included celebrated broadcaster Oheneyere Gifty Anti who received the Women Supporting Women Award and Professor Elsie Effah Kaufmann, National Science and Maths Quiz Mistress who received the Exceptional Woman in Academia Award.
