The Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa has reiterated the Authority’s unflinching commitment to delivering sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions to industries in Ghana.

He gave the assurance at the 2021 Ghana Industrial Summit and Exhibition (GISE) organized by the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) in partnership with the VRA.

In an address read on his behalf by the Deputy Chief Executive (Finance), Dr. Ebenezer Tagoe, Mr. Antwi-Darkwa said that VRA, since its establishment 60 years ago, had been at the forefront of providing reliable power to industries in Ghana, adding that "the Volta River Authority is fully conscious of the fact that power is an invincible force and facilitator of prosperity to Ghanaian industries."

Day 3 of the event, dubbed Energy Day, was dedicated to celebrating 60 years of VRA’s enormous contribution to Ghanaian industries. The Deputy Chief Executive (Engineering and Operations), Ing. Emmanuel Dankwa Osafo delivered an insightful presentation on the Authority’s power business, chronicling key events in VRA’s operations over the past six decades.
