Innovative Leadership Recognized: VRA Chief Executive Honoured as Best Chief Executive in Power Sector at 8th CEO Summit
The Chief Executive of the Volta River Authority (VRA), Mr. Emmanuel Antwi-Darkwa, was adjudged the "Best CEO (Power Sector) 2023" at the 8th Ghana CEO Summit held on May 27, 2024 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
The award (won consecutively by Mr. Antwi-Darkwa's over the past 3 years) was in recognition of his sterling leadership and unrivalled commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence in pioneering groundbreaking initiatives in the power sector.
Held under the theme: "Re-igniting Business and Economic Growth: Charting a Path Forward; Economic Diversification and Artificial Intelligence Transformation. A Private-Public Sector CEO Dialogue & High Impact-Learning.", the Summit brought together over 500 Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and industry leaders to engage in high-level dialogues and collaborative learning.
The Summit also featured a series of masterclasses, expert panels and networking sessions that provided CEOs with actionable insights and toolkits for driving business growth.
