VRA Oracle Fusion Project Kicks Off
The Volta River Authority (VRA) on Monday, January 22, 2023, held a kick-off meeting at the Electro Volta Conference Room, Accra, to announce timelines for the commencement and implementation of its Oracle Fusion Project.
The project, which aims to expand the Authority’s digitalization footprint for greater efficiency and profitability, would provide a single, intelligent, enterprise solution to VRA and its subsidiaries.
In his address, the Deputy Chief Executive (Services), Ing. Kenneth Arthur, emphasized the crucial need for the consolidation of the Authority’s transactions, data and accounts, and acknowledgd the project’s significance for VRA and its subsidiaries.
Representatives of BAIT Consulting (Project consultants), Mr. Ravi Kumar and Mr. Joseph Boateng in a joint presentation outlined the roadmap for the project’s implementation.
Dr. Ebenezer Tagoe, Deputy Chief Executive (Finance), who doubles as the Project Chairman, expressed optimism that the initiative would achieve internal business efficiency and a seamless collaborative ecosystem.
The Project is expected to end on January 1, 2025 with the Authority beginning full project implementation in January 2026.
