VRA Donates Books to Natriku Roman Catholic School

The Volta River Authority (VRA), in partnership with AGRALife Foundation (a non-governmental organization), has donated books to the Natriku Roman Catholic School (NRCS).

The books, presented to Ms. Anna Stella Ankutse, headmistress of NRCS by Ms. Wilhemina Sowah, Ag. Area Human Resource Manager (Akuse) and Mr. John Chobbah, Information/Publicity Office, both of the VRA, will serve as reading materials that would serve kindergarten to Junior high school pupils.

Ms. Ankutse expressed gratitude to the VRA for the donation and said that she was optimistic the donation would spur the students on to learn more to keep up the school's performance.

The headmistress further requested for VRA's support in providing electricity for the school as it would go a long way to help students who wish to study in the evenings.

Ms. Sowah reiterated the Authority's support to its communities and said VRA was willing to support education which is the bedrock for any nation's development. She encouraged the school to work harder towards producing future leaders for Ghana.
