VRA to Launch Book
The Volta River Authority (VRA) is to launch a commemorative volume which marks 50 years of the Authority.
The book which is titled, ‘Lake of Life’, is written by Professor Edward S. Ayensu, a Development Advisor on Science and Technology to the Africa Development Bank, and is the second commissioned by the VRA to tell the story of the development of the Akosombo Hydro Electric Dam.
The volume, which follows James Moxon's, "Volta: Man's Greatest Lake", celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Volta River Authority with emphasis on energy infrastructure development and a strategic focus on VRA’s contribution to the economy of Ghana.
