VRA Launches Knowledge Management Portal
Knowledge Management (KM) - a process through which organizations generate value from their intellectual capital and knowledge-based assets - has become an important initiative for organizations whose mark of excellence lies in their efficiency and competence in managing vast amounts of information.
It is upon this background that the management of the Volta River Authority (VRA) has launched an electronic system to management the Authority's KM activities.
VRA’s Knowledge Management (KM) Portal is a web-based platform that seeks to integrate sharing, learning, collaboration and innovation in the Authority. The portal also seeks to make staff experts in their fields of operation, and will ensure that best practices become standard operating procedures in the Authority.
